Simple Herb Sausage

Simple herb sausage that works well with both ground pork and beef

This simple sausage is easy to make and works well with both beef and pork (or a mixture of the two).  


  • 1 lb ground pork or beef
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 heaping teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon fennel seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg using your microplane


  1. Mix all spices together
  2. Mix into ground pork/beef
  3. Form into patties if desired (you can just cook into crumbles)
  4. Cook over medium - med high heat on the stovetop until fully cooked (165)

    Easy, simple dinner that goes together in a snap yet tastes delicious! Was great with missed veggies and rice.
